People have already seen few video projects which were shot on Nokia N8 Smartphone. Now this project is an addition in that series.
The movie name is “Olive”, which brings the story of “A little girl who transforms the lives of three people without speaking one word”.
Movie Directors Hooman Khalili & Patrick Gilles decided to shot the full movie with a set of Nokia N8 Smartphones double-taped to a set of traditional film-camera lenses. Hooman told admitted that to make this work possible, he had to hack the N8 smartphone, to turn off the auto-zoom and auto-focus. As per Hooman, the reason for it was, “Phone Camera thinks that it knows what you want to focus on, but in actual it doesn’t know that.”.
The movie budget is estimated to be around $500,000 which has been funded by Chris Kelly (Facebook’s Former Chief Privacy Officer).
The Movie will be available at Laemmle Fallbrook 7 Cinema in West Hills, Los Angeles on 16th December 2011. Lets see first five minutes of the movie, Olive.
