Apple chose to name the device 4S because physically on the exterior it looked much the same as the iPhone 4. It still features the same rectangular design.
The design included rounded buttons to perform task such as volume control, switching notification signals and turning the device on or off. The phone’s display includes specially treated glass that is scratch resistant. The iPhone 4S includes a display same as the iPhone 4, measuring 3.5 inches, with a screen resolution of 960×640 pixels.
The significant differences between the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S occur within the interior of the phone. However, some of these changes are actually quite exciting if not revolutionary. One of the most significant feature of this phone is, inclusion of Siri.
Siri is a personal assistant built right into the Apple iPhone 4S. Using voice commands, Siri can perform a variety of tasks. Additionally, Siri is able to obtain information when queried.
The iPhone 4S comes with a higher resolution 8 mega-pixel camera than the iPhone 4, which has only 5 megapixel camera in it.
